Fire Risk Assessment
Fire risk assessment is an organized look at what (work or activities) could cause harm to people from fire. This assessments help determine the odds of a fire occurring and the danger it could pose to the workplace and employees.
The risk assessment process consists of five steps:
1. Identify the fire hazards within your premises.
2. Identify the people at risk.
3. Evaluate and decide if the existing fire safety arrangements are satisfactory or need improving.
4. Record the findings, produce an emergency plan, instruct, inform and train.
5. Arrange to regularly review the assessment.
Fire Storm conduct these assessments. During this time they examine the premises and help businesses implement measures to reduce and manage the risk from fire.
Fire and Evacuation Plans
To ensure that employees and clients find their way out of the danger zones safely, a evacuation plan for each company should be drawn up.
This entails a map and signs showing where the nearest exit is, as well as indications of where fire fighting equipment and first aid kits are located.
Companies should make sure their employees know these exit routes. They should also be equipped to handle fire fighting equipment.
That being said, Fire Storm helps provides all the necessary services to help keep your company safe.
